- Why not hold off naming your cat for awhile until his/her personality
- manifests? It took me 6 months in one case, but it was worth it.
- No name would ever have been more perfect than Booger and I wouldn't
- have thought of it right off...only when I realized what a little booger
- he really was.
-
- Then again, it only took me about 3 seconds to name Bozo. A couple hours
- at home to name Buster, a beautiful but VERY CLUMSY orange tabby whose
- mis-landings sent dishware crashing.
-
- What I am trying to say is, instead of nameing a cat from some superficial
- attribute to go with their color or your favorite literary character,
- let the cat lead you, and one day, when you least expect it, the perfect
- name will pop into your mind. The cat will have told you his name.
