  16. I've wriiten about by cat before, Ophelia. I mentioned I got her when
  17. she was about 2 years old, 2 1/2 years ago at the local shelter. I
  18. also mentioned I thought she had been abused.

  20. Saturday something bizarre happened. I walked out into my living room,
  21. and my normally docile pussy cat attacked my foot. I don't mean the usual
  22. "feed me" attack. I mean a hollering, screaming, cat yowling, hissing,
  23. fur flying attack!!!! She beat my foot to a bloody stump. I was so shocked
  24. I didn't know what to do, she was obviously scared sh*tless. Finally
  25. I leaned down and said "kitty, it just me", upon hearing my voice she
  26. immediatly stopped and ran to one of her favorite sitting places. She
  27. was visibly shaken. I went and cleaned up my stump, (thank goodnes I had
  28. on heavy socks). About an hour later she was back to her old self.

  30. My question is, what happened?    Did she not like my purple socks?
  31. Could she have been given LSD once & was having a flash back? Was
  32. she hallucinating (sp?). Has this ever happened to anyone else?
