- The ruler of the apartment, Woody, has been acting differently lately.
- I got him from the Humane Society when he was 5 mos. old (he's 5 yrs now).
- I haven't dated anybody that would be around alot since i got him. That has
- changed recently. He doesn't seem to like it. He watches us all of the time.
- He'll sit on the floor 5 feet away and stare at us. When she stays over,
- he gets between us at night. When she isn't around, he talks to me more
- than usual. He has always been right on my heel, but now he accompanies
- it with a little vocalization. I think he is just a tad bit jealous.
- Will this go away with time (she has been around him for 2 months). Do i
- need to "include" him more when she is over ? Will this just work itself
- out ?
-
- He knows what is going on. I think he views himself as my protector. This
- last weekend, my roommate was looking at pictures on his bed. Renee' went
- in to look at some of the pictures. I wasn't in the room with her. Woody
- wouldn't go in the room. He stood outside of the room and meowed. One time
- he started to walk in, then turned and ran out. He didn't settle down until
- Renee' was back by me again.
-
- Anybody have suggestions or similar incidents ??
