  12. One of my cats tries to bury his food sometimes.  He was born
  13. in my sister's bedroom, so I doubt your cat was influenced
  14. by living in the wild (I could be wrong, of course).  He also
  15. tries to bury the presents he leaves for the dogs when he
  16. misses the litterbox.  That at least makes sense!
