  22.      I had an old, balding cat that was about 11 years old.  The balding was 
  23. in a regular shape on her underside.  The vet explained that feline pattern 
  24. baldness affects females and could be cured by hormones.  Imagine my 
  25. surprise when this cat, neutered over 10 yrs previouly, went into heat!  I 
  26. decided I prefered a bald, happy cat!
