- There is an article in New Scientist this week (vol.137, no.1857.
- 23 Jan.1993. ISSN 0262 4079) p.4 on "Pets need protection from the
- sun". It is largely about pale-coloured animals, including white
- cats, suffering skin cancers in Australia. The Royal Society for
- the Protection of Animals recommends keeping susceptible animals
- indoors between 11 am and 3pm.
- I expect this must apply equally well in parts of southern USA.
