- I think cat's names really depend on the personality of
- the cat in question. However, I also think that it's
- nice to have cat names that are made up of easily recognized
- sounds - human conversation must sound to cats like such
- a mish-mash of NOISE. (kinda like the adults in those
- Charlie Brown Cartoons). I named my cat Sasha for the
- reason that I thought she'd pick up onto two SS-syllables
- easily.
- Some names that I thought were really nice are :
- Pippin (ie. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings), or Tintin (for the
- cartoon charachter). Some friends of mine have used the
- names from famous mathematicians / philosophers, like
- Descartes, Spinoza, Nietze (sp??), and Oxford and Cambridge,
- for a pair of inseperable tabbies.
-
- Good luck in a hunt for the right name !
