  12. I think cat's names really depend on the personality of
  13. the cat in question.  However, I also think that it's 
  14. nice to have cat names that are made up of easily recognized
  15. sounds - human conversation must sound to cats like such
  16. a mish-mash of NOISE.  (kinda like the adults in those
  17. Charlie Brown Cartoons).  I named my cat Sasha for the 
  18. reason that I thought she'd pick up onto two SS-syllables
  19. easily. 
  20. Some names that I thought were really nice are : 
  21. Pippin (ie. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings), or Tintin (for the
  22. cartoon charachter).  Some friends of mine have used the
  23. names from famous mathematicians / philosophers, like
  24. Descartes, Spinoza, Nietze (sp??), and Oxford and Cambridge,
  25. for a pair of inseperable tabbies.
