  13. I've had two different cats on prednisone.  The first probably died
  14. because she was weaned off of it by a vet who insisted it was bad
  15. for her.  A later vet, with the second cat, told me that they've
  16. known for at least 10 years (which covered the time in which the
  17. first died) that prednisone is not nearly as hard on cats as it is
  18. on people or even dogs.  So, if your cat needs prednisone, give it
  19. to him/her.  It might just keep your baby alive.
