  12. My mother has a friend that wanted me to ask ya'll about a
  13. quirk that his cats have.  It seems that when he gives any
  14. of them (he owns about 8 cats) olives (green or black) the
  15. cats go crazy as if they had just inhaled catnip.  When the
  16. cats think he has olives anywhere near, they won't stop
  17. pestering him until he gives them some.  The olives have
  18. the same catnip-like effect on all of his cats.  He wants
  19. to know if this is common and if there is something in the
  20. olives that is responsible for this behavior.  I keep missing
  21. parts of the newsgroup, so if you could email me your responses,
