  10.   Hello ferret owners!
  11. I am in desperate need of your help.  I have recently become involved in the
  12. unfortunate problem of anti-ferret legislation in places such as California and
  13. New York City, for instance.  I feel that the idea of ferrets being illegal to
  14. own in INSANE and I am prepared to fight it with all that I can.  Before I can
  15. do so, I need information from anyone who can seriously help me.  I need to
  16. have a current and accurate list of all of the places that ferrets are illegal.
  17. I need to hear *true* stories that people have heard, or better, experienced,
  18. in places in which ferrets are illegal.  I need to know FACTUALLY why ferrets
  19. are illegal in specific places...for instance in New York City the REASON may
  20. differ from the reason in California.  I need information on anything that may
  21. help my case.

  23.   I don't mean to doubt the credibility of anyone on the Net, but I have to say
  24. this.  I plead with  anyone who is planning on e-mailing me, I need facts and
  25. truthful information and stories.  If I am going to go up against these law
  26. makers and legislators (and I plan on doing whatever it takes) I need to be
  27. sure that the information I have is correct, for obvious reasons.

  29.   I believe in the right for people to own whatever pets they choose to own,
  30. and I believe in the rights of ferrets to be owned.  Please, if you are as
  31. concerned as I am, e-mail me with your information or just with your concern.
