- Oh, please! It¬s not unnatural for a rabbits ears to hang down. Have you
- ever raised lop eared rabbits? I have. They still have *full*
- independent control over both their ears, they swivel them forward when
- alert, they go back when they are scared. They twitch forward and back
- when they hear strange noises. Are you implying that if a rabbits ears
- hang down they cannot hear properly? It¬s just not true.
-
- As for the original question - will both ears go down? The answer is
- probably no. Although the one that¬s up might droop down a bit more, your
- rabbit will probably end up having a very endearing Uhelicopterj look.
- You can tell at a very early age if a French Lop¬s ears will fall
- completely, in fact the majority do fall completely by the time they are
- 10 weeks old. Often, breeders sell those that don¬t for pets because
- they aren¬t showable. But they¬re certainly no less lovable, they just
- have a bit more character.
