  20.     Trouble is you confuse the effects of having drugs in society with the
  21. effect of the "War on Drugs".  If drugs were legal, you would have 
  22. have such a large black market (if any).  Furthermore the quality of
  23. substances would be significantly higher.  How often do you see kids
  24. ODing on alchohol?  How often do you see people drinking wood alcohol
  25. tainted stuff and going blind?  How much of a black market is there
  26. for alcohol?

  28.     Most of the problems of the type you describe are a result of the
  29. illegality of drugs -- not the drugs themselves.

  31.     As far as the 'profit' motive, hey, so those freedom fighters are
  32. mercenaries.  I don't see any organized army fighting for our freedom, so
  33. I guess mercenaries are needed.  You might wonder about our US military
  34. fighting for our freedom -- shit.  They are being used in military 
  35. operations in our state to 'control' the population & fight the
  36. drug war.  If this isn't a war, they why is the military involved?

  38.     Of course, to relate this to nudity -- personal drug use and nudity
  39. are integrally related.  They both are about your personal freedom.
  40. If we go with the premise that  you have personal freedom and
  41. responsibliity.  And if you go with the premise that you can do as
  42. you will on your own property, and on shared (public) property as long
  43. as you are not harming others, then suddenly nudism and drugs become
  44. legal.
