- I too have a collection of packs, bum-bags, etc to cope with the miscellaneous
- necessities of life that even clothes-free recreation can't lose, but there are
- another couple of points:
-
- First, I have a friend who, when he goes for a walk at the beach, always takes
- his car keys (if nothing else), on the premise that if his gear gets stolen, he
- can probably get back to the car and get home.
-
- Secondly, I used to take mountains of "stuff" of all descriptions with me to
- the club on weekends, following the "just in case" theory, until I got a
- caravan (i.e. trailer) site there, so that I could leave everything I needed at
- the club and just turn up. Nowadays I just spend hours walking between the pool
- and the caravan, because I never remember to take all the things I need with me
- the first time: the lesson is, you can overcome being a textile, but
- absent-mindedness goes a lot deeper.
-
- Generally speaking, I trust nudists/naturists as completely honest people, but
- not all beach users are nudists (and nudist clubs in NZ don't have land-mined
- perimeters. I tend to be a lot more relaxed about security at the club, but I
- don't advertise to be robbed either.
