- Various things that others have already mentioned. It's seldom a problem
- since even nude, one almost always carries *some* belongings. (lunch, towel,
- clothes, whatever.) If I want to travel light, I either lock my valuables
- in my car or room and take the key or hide it somewhere nearby.
-
- I don't mind wearing a day pack while (otherwise) nude. I've worn a belt
- pack (fanny pack) while nude, but if that is all I'm taking with me I'd
- rather just carry it. (Carry the belt pack that is.) I've also got a
- "beach-safe" (courtesy of Digital Computers) that can be used to hold
- money and stuff. I use it on occasion, but I don't like having it swinging
- from my neck, and my keys don't fit in it.
-
- To be honest though, I've run into the same problems even without being nude.
- A lot of shorts don't have much in the way of pockets, so you have a
- similar problem. (Though in this case I'll probably wear the belt pack
- instead of carrying it.)

- I don't worry as much, but I'd rather err on the side of caution. I would
- *not* leave valuables unattended on Wreck Beach for any length of time..
- unless they were *well* hidden. There are simply too many people around.
- A decade ago this would not have been a problem, but things change.

- I haven't done any nude backpacking, but I have backpacked without a shirt.
- I don't find that it makes much difference. My backpack is more comfortable
- than my day pack in that regard. (Most regards, actually) My preference
- though is for a cotton shirt with buttons---having to take off your pack
- to take off or put on a shirt is a bit of a pain.

- Cheers. Bill.
