  14. The following excerpt is from the 1/20/93, (Portland) Oregonian Newspaper:

  16. "Almost no one liked the proposed new management plan for Sauvie Island
  17. that was presented to members of the Oregon Fish and Wildlife commission.  
  18. So they adopted it.  ...Specifically, the commission told Randy Fisher, Fish 
  19. and Wildlife department director, to draft rules concerning the use of the 
  20. beaches and public conduct.  Those rules could result in limitation or a ban 
  21. on nudity and a ban on alcohol, both of which were repeatedly requested by 
  22. island residents..."

  24. The NSA trustee, Wayne Roberts has been contacted and several "regular"
  25. beach goers, myself included, are working with local clubs to see how we 
  26. can influence events.  Advice on strategies will be appreciated!
