  14. Didn't I just read a post where only "transcribed" or "official" lyrics get
  15. put into the archive?  Well, after reading the file 'no_woman_no_cry', which
  16. was evidently transcribed from the German edition of some Marley album, I'd
  17. prefer to take my chances with the readers of this group.  Maybe it's just me,
  18. but these lines seem to be in error:

  20.     'and then georgie would make a fire light
  21.      as it was love wood burning through the night
  22.      and we would cook wholemeal porridge...'

  24. I hear 'logwood burning through the night' (logwood being the name of a very
  25. important tree in Jamaica), and 'cornmeal porridge'.  I also hear 'In this
  26. bright future, you CAN'T forget your past', whereas the Germanized lyrics say
  27. '...can forget your past'.

  29. T'ump mi if I'm wrong about these lyrics, but it seems like a lot better
  30. collection could be built by relying on the expertise of real fans...
