  12.    Guys, I'm kinda glad I goofed sending this out the first time cause I
  13.   have a few additional notes.
  14.  
  15.     Someone recently wrote in how they were disturbed on how negative the
  16.   net is getting.  I hope everyone read that because that should tell us
  17.   something.  
  18.  
  19.      I originally got into this scene for one reason *I LOVE THE MUSIC*
  20.   And that deserves to be in capitals because Phish's outstanding
  21.   crativity in music inspire me to deal with a world that can be pretty
  22.   depressing, especially since I'm in law school.
  23.  
  24.      But there's something else that *KEEPS* me here.  The warm sense of
  25.   community and *COMRADERY*. A compassion that people have for each
  26.   other.  We're all a team and for those of you that don't know it
  27.   THERE'S NO "I" in "TEAM".
  28.  
  29.       In the past fewmonths I've met some terrific people, made some good
  30.   friendships and had a terrific and invigorating time, not just by
  31.   seeing killer shows, but by hanging with some truly fun and 
  32.   warmly human people.  They (and you know who you are) have 
  33.   softened my once cynical edge, and HELP ME BE A BETTER PERSON TOO.

  35.    The last few days on the net, and the last few weeks before x-mas
  36.   I noticed the net (NOT SHOWS) becoming much less personal and worse
  37.   less friendly.
  38.  
  39.    I myself was the victim of what I considered to be an unprovoked and
  40.   unwarranted attack, but instead of threatening to "dance all over
  41.   this person's face with high heels or spike's)  I now carry on
  42.   intelligent discussions with him, and learn alot too.
  43.  
  44.    I realize that when I send advice on taping or whatever, that I don't
  45.   know everything and that there's always a way to improve.
  46.  
  47.      I mut say that I'm disa little dismayed, but havethe utmost confidence
  48.   that we'll rally.
  49.  
  50.      I think Jamie Treworgy put it very eloquently and correctly when he
  51.   noted that "behind every mailbox is a person".
  52.  
  53.      Last I wanna send a BIG THANK YOU to those netters who I've
  54.   been corresponding with personally.  I just want you to know how happy
  55.    you've made me and that I still look forward, every day, to my
  56.    designated net time.  May god bless and keep you always, may your
  57.   wishes all come true, may you always do for others and have others do
  58.   for you.  May you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every
  59.   rung and may you stay forever young (and Phishy)
  60.

  95.     What ever you do, DONT USE ALCOHOL, it dries out your pinch rollers.

  100.   Someone else asked about the 5-25-88 set list.  I was gonna run a tree of
  101.   my excellent boards of this, but have received more interest in the
  102.   Over the Garden Wall tree.  We'll take a poll, write in (to the net so
  103.   everyone can see as well as vote) which you'd rather have.

  105.    My 5-28-88 is on two full 90's.  Side B of tape 1 has two songs from
  106.    set two and two songs from set 3 (clearly marked.)  This is so
  107.    the 25 minute Whipping Post is not cut.  In fact the long fluffhead and
  108.    Jesus left Chicago are not cut either.

  110.   I'll attempt the set list now, but I'm in the law school building now
  111.   and I don't make it a habit of carrying these two tapes around with me at
  112.   all times, so nobody have a coronary or try to discredit me if I miss a
  113.   song.

  115.      Actually, I'll post the list later when I have the exact breakup of the show on the two tapes, but (I'm *pretty sure* its all there.)  I have everything
  116.    that the HPB lists.

  118.     BTW -> Shelly, I have several newspaper articles from 'Cuse about Phish.
