  12. in response to seth's question, there WERE such things as type III tapes
  13. that used a two different types of magnetic flake thingy-mabobs (excuse
  14. my technical terminology... my brain's kinda fried at the moment and 
  15. i can't seem to bring to mind the words i'm looking for ;-)) and were
  16. kinda a cross-breed tape.  they didn't sell and went off the market.
  17. i'm sure someone else can post more useful info on the matter (if not,
  18. i'll repost when i'm thinkin' straight.)
