  13.     So sorry to get everyone riled up over my last post. I think a
  14. lot of the sarcasm was misunderstood but I am to blame for that.
  15. Firstly, I'll apologize to all I offended but I also want to add my 
  16. own justification.

  18.         Being a native a the rotten apple I have seen many things
  19. take place. To say that scalpers are only hoodlums and junkies is
  20. not to say the entire truth. Sure, it may be the majority but at
  21. most of the shows I've been too (Phish, GD, BT, SD, BB, TMBG, etc.)
  22. there have always been scalpers who stand on line with their own tickets
  23. AND extras only willing to sell their extra to the highest bidder.
  24. I suspect this will happen at Roseland as it has happened at ANY show
  25. I have ever been to in the city. Some people are out to make a buck and
  26. I in no way meant to say that these people were netters. My point was that
  27. if any netter was planning in partaking of these activities they should be
  28. blasted because it is uncool. It just didn't end up sounding that way. :^(
  29. Of course, everyone is free to be, I was just voicing my opinion as John and
  30. Shelly voiced theirs.

  32.             So my point is, if you were thinking of scalping, don't do it!
  33. This is not to say that every netter is a scalper but you can't say that 
  34. every netter is NOT a scalper! The world is real and things are ugly sometimes.
  35. I wasn't trying to yell or abuse anyone, it's not in me to do that. I am 
  36. sorry everyone is up in arms about it but at the same time my post, (IMHO),
  37. was simply misunderstood. Didn't mean to put glass in your wheaties Shelly.
  38. This is not a flame either. I said I am sorry and I am moving on. No need
  39. to send me more hate mail or whatever, the blows have been dealt!

  41. With that all said and done, I go. My message remains the same, if you have
  42. extras and can part with them, please do so over the net rather than at a
  43. show. If I have to see one more twenty year old at a show on line waving
  44. an extra and yelling, "One for seventy five" I think I might...

  48. BTW, there is nothing wrong with the Beasties and I never
  49.      said they were Phish. If you were insinuating that only
  50.      scalpers show up at *those* types of shows your wrong.
