- I find it understandable that Phish would have some anxieties about
- doing a video, for many of the reasons mike talked about in the interview
- (creating undesired musical images/the stagnation of video art). Still, I
- think they COULD create a video and NOT 1)sell out 2)force the listener to
- develop certain mental images via the video.

- For example, what if the guys from Phish shot a video for "Fast Enough
- for You" in which they just sat in a bathtub and passed around a sandwich
- while, instead of lip syncing and air guitaring the tune, they just sat there
- and LISTENED to the song... Listening to music... what a novel concept. If
- they wanted to be pretentious about it, they could even remark about what a
- great song it is. 'What a bitchen steel guitar solo, Trey'... 'Thanks, Fish,
- and that's some very tasteful drumming you've laid down, yourself.' Just a
- thought.
