- I don't know if this has been done before, but I am going to give it a try.
- I am going to limit the number of applicants to 60. When I get the first 60
- applications, I will close shop. Heck, I might not even get that many and
- if it is just a little over, I will probably work you in. I apologize in
- advance for those that aren't able to make it into the first 60 applications.
- I know that this is somewhat unfair, but I have three reasons for doing this.
-
- 1. I have limited time, space, exp, etc to administer and get the tree off
- the ground in the 'normal' manner.
- 2. I have never attempted this before and if this one works out, I would
- offer to admin a larger tree with no restrictions.
- 3. (Though not as important as 1 and 2, but a pretty good side effect) I
- believe that the tapes would trickle down jest a leeetle faster.
-
- The Show : Thursday, 4/8/71, Boston Music Hall

-
- Tape One, Side One_______ Tape Two, Side Two________________
-
- Truckin' Dark Star ->
- Bertha St. Stephen ->
- Next Time You See Me Not Fade Away ->
- Playing In the Band Going Down the Road Feeling Bad ->
- Loser Not Fade Away
- Beat It On Down the Line
-
- Tape One, Side Two_______ Tape Two, Side Two________________
-
- I Second That Emotion Sing Me Back Home
- Sugar Magnolia Cumberland Blues
- China Cat Sunflower -> Greatest Story Ever Told ->
- I Know You Rider Johnny B. Goode
- Casey Jones E: Good Lovin'->Drums->Good Lovin'
-
- Vocals and guitar seem to be at a slightly louder volume in the mix than the
- percussion, while Phil's bass is plenty loud. Between Rider and Casey Jones
- there is some guy talking in the right channel about headphones who is mildly
- annoying and there is a cool 'loony tune' jam on side A of set one.
