- I believe Jack refers to the Boulder Early Music Shop, whose proprietor
- is Ruth Harvey.

- I am a viol player who has purchased lots of music from Ruth. She is a viol
- and recorder player herself and is well-aware of the needs of the 'average'
- amateur musician playing early instruments: costs, trying things out,
- availability of a variety of different instruments from a variety of makers,
- etc. Although I have not purchased any instruments from her, I would not
- hesitate to do so.
