- I can remember, when I had no Dylan tapes it was kind of hard to get
- started trading as I didn't really have anything to trade with. Well,
- I've got a decent sized collection, and am not really looking for too
- much more (I'm satisfied). I figured I would try to help out the net
- folks who don't have much in the way of tapes by offering to start a
- few tape trees similiar to the one which was done for the Pay Per View
- special. My toughest choice was to choose which tapes. Well, to start
- off with, from the tapes I have from the '88 tour have always sounded
- quite sweet. So I'll start off with an '88 show. If things go
- smoothly, and everybody seems happy with the process I'll try to work
- on more in the near future. I listened to this tape on the way in to
- work and it sounded as good as I remembered it. Anyway, I don't know
- the generation, but it sounds low. It is an audience tape, but the
- audience certainly does not get in the way of the music on this tape.
- If you are interested in getting a copy of the tape fill in the small
- form below and send to me with the subject something like Dylan tree.
- I'll start spinning tapes this week in hopes of making this tree a
- lightning speed tree, and post the results in about 2 weeks (whenever
- the replies stop coming in). If I don't get many replies, I may just
- reply via e-mail. If I do, I'll post, and pass some more tapes around.
- I can remember John Howells posting a review of this show some time ago
- maybe if he has a copy of that review he might be able to repost it to
- refresh some of our memories? I remember John speaking kindly about
- this show. Anyway, here is the show.
