- Mr. Pratt played this exact same program here in Illinois early last fall.
- I was VERY impressed with his performance. He certainly posesses the
- requisite technique necessary to bring off such a demanding program, and his
- interpretations were wonderful. To my ears, his playing was truly inspired
- and shed new light on each of these masterpieces. His performance of the
- fugue in Op. 110 was marvelous. (BTW, several pianist friends of mine also
- attended the recital, and they all thought his playing was extremely fine).
- Murray's shoes are tough to fill, but I'd say to give Mr. Pratt a chance. If
- his performance in Seattle is on the level of the one I saw in Illinois, you
- may just be astounded.
