- Mattias,
-
- This will sound like just another schmooze, but,...
-
- You might really like the forthcoming Farewell to Juliet CD.
- It's a little tougher than a lot of the stuff you mentioned,
- but it's not heavy metal.
-
- Do you like the Choir? They're not a hard rock band, but
- they're not straight pop either. Sort of moody, ethereal,
- atmospheric, sometimes folksy. Occasionally a little harder,
- like the Fixx (they did "One thing Leads to Another).
-
- Duh. I just looked back at your article, and you list a
- couple of Choir releases. Did you like Chase the Kangaroo?
- That was one of my faves.
-
- Actually, I bet that Over the Rhine would be right up
- your alley!
-
- The Fixx actually hold some comparison to our band. They're
- just not as heavily in debt! :)
-
- We all love DA. Especially Terry's lyrics.
- Brant and I write the lyrics for our songs, and Brant's a very
- deep thinker. I won't blow my own horn too much in that area,
- but I work very hard to be interesting and not in your face
- obvious (i.e., I like imagery and something that provokes
- thought.
-
- Mail me for more info. God bless!
