  24. I've found that the Charly compilations are good too, if you want a 
  25. representative sampling of any of the King/Federal artists.  They come 
  26. with decent liner notes.  Another source of the King/Federal sides are 
  27. the compilations put out ostensibly by King.  These 12-20 song compilations
  28. are available at the cut-out bins at *Tower*.  The one here in Austin has
  29. always contained more than a few titles.  They typically cost $7.99.  They
  30. have no liners, but the sound is good.

  32. Some of the artists whose CDs I've come across are, Wynonie Harris, Roy Brown,
  33. Ivory Joe Hunter, Champion Jack Dupree, Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson, Jimmy Wither-
  34. spoon, Albert King, Freddie King, Tiny Bradshaw, Earl Bostic, Hank Ballard,
  35. Wild Bill Dogget(sp?) and others.
