- Mr. Kramer;
-
- First, let me say that we have no time here for senseless drible.
- This is a busy group and we prefer to hear information relevant to the
- motorcycling industry, not some fabricated illusions you have about your
- favorite topics.
-
- Second, Harley Davidson is one of the few companies that have ever
- been bestowed with the Army/Navy E award for excellence during military
- crisis. Not to mention that the first American to enter the liberated Germany
- after WWI was on a Harley. They provided casings during WW II, at a cost of
- over half of their own production. I could go on for days here.
-
- And third, let me remind you that the only thing the US government
- has ever awarded a Jap motorcycle company (all of them actually), was a
- substantial allotment of surpluss government cheese. It was stinkin up the
- joint and the Japs use it to manufacture over 60% of the internal motor
- parts for their bikes.***
-
- Thank-you;
