I'm writing from Las Vegas, and I can tell you, there are NO roads which legally have no speed limit. However, there are roads that are so far away from
anything that even police don't travel them unless they really have to.
A little note: the state of Nevada wanted to raise the speed limit on it's
rural highways to approximately 70-75 mph, but doing so would cost all of
it's federal highway funding, which the state couldn't afford.
Moral: Blame the Feds!!!
