- Did the bike ever have a leaky fork tube? It might be that the pads
- on it are contaminated or were not broken in correctly.

- It is true that you can notice quite a difference in the use of
- different compounds. I could go into the theory of it, but it would
- take more time than I have, as I should be doing Discrete homework.
- Call one of the brake pad manufacturers, they will tell probably
- tell you what you want to know.
