  14. Just to plug one of the few non-moto, non-computer magazines I read monthly,
  15. I find that CAR&DRIVER is a good source of general information of this
  16. ilk.

  18. Not that they don't have their own agenda, but they frequently
  19. summarize studies on both sides of the "speed" and "safety" fences.
  20. They also have articles on just about anything that involves motion. In
  21. the past they had articles on stuff like an aircraft carrier, nuclear
  22. attack submarine, wheelchairs, 18th century sedan chairs, deep sea
  23. research subs, giant dump trunks, diesel-electric locomotives, and yes,
  24. even motorcycles. Their short blurb on the ZX-11 basically said "If you
  25. thought your car was quick... and does it cost under $10K?" As well as
  26. the usual stuff on radar dectectors, deer whistles, and Lotus Europas.
