- Hit up an auction where they are auctioning off tools from
- gas stations and other auto/truck repairers. What you want is
- a low slung transmission jack that has 4 wheels. Once you get
- it have a shop make up a 24" x 5' frame and fit it to the jack.
- Then use 2x6 and 1"plywood to make a platform on top of the
- frame. Use 2 tie down straps (front and rear) once on the
- platform you can wheel it anywhere you want to, including
- up about 14" (depending on the jack size). You will also
- have to make a ramp for it.
- A neighbor of mine took a low slung creeper from MAC and
- removed the padding and pillow and built a platform for it.
- Now he just wheels his bike on to the platform and pushes
- it around the cellar and out of the way, no more horsing
- it around to line up with the door or move it out of the
- way.
