  19. I got a pair of red Lochhart Privateers (what a stupid name) last summer.
  20. Since the backs of the hands don't really get pressed against the leather,
  21. only the palms were red for weeks.  Oh, the ribbing I took about 'Rosy Palmer'

  24. Your best bet is (a) wear surgical gloves under the leather ones, (b) trash
  25. 'em and buy flesh-colored gloves, or (c) run 'em through the washer a couple
  26. times in warm (not hot) water.  Obviously, avoid the dryer.  As in Europe,
  27. soap is optional.
