  12. Check the starter relay/solenoid.  My 750 had these symtoms for a while.
  13. It would randomly do nothing when the starter button was pressed.  Several
  14. stabs at the button and it would start as if nothing was wrong.

  16. The relay wasn't really meant to be serviced.  I pried it open anyway.
  17. Just far enough to squirt in some 3M miracle oil.  Put the thingie back
  18. together and it hasn't acted up since.  Of course, I haven't ridden my
  19. motorcycle since then either. :-(

  21. Send me some mail in a month or two when it's back on the road.  I hope to
  22. get her in running order by April at the latest.
