- Are there any decent lower cost riding suits available? The espoused
- one, Melinda, is seriously considering getting a bike as daily
- transport, and would like protection against road rash. Ideally, it
- would be light weight/well vented (this is Texas), and easy to put on
- and take off. She'd be riding mostly around town (Austin) so
- competition weight leathers are (at present) not really required.

- I guess some people will recommend jeans, but she doesn't own any, and
- it would be nice to be able to wear shorts to walk around in.

- Helmet recommendations would also be appreciated.
