  14. r the front.  You DOD members seem to have quite a few years of riding experien
  15. ce under your belts, so I thought I would ask you.  Would new brake pads help m
  16. e stop the bike with less lever effort?  Would I have to specify to the dealer
  17. that I wanted a different type(compound) of pads than the normal replacements?
  18.     I would appreciate any input about making the brakes more effective.
