- Hi there,
- I have a '83 KZ650 CSR. It has a single disk brake on the front wheel. I
- find that the lever effort required stop the bike anything like quickly is ver
- y, very high. A friend of mine suggested that I buy a new set of brake pads fo
- r the front. You DOD members seem to have quite a few years of riding experien
- ce under your belts, so I thought I would ask you. Would new brake pads help m
- e stop the bike with less lever effort? Would I have to specify to the dealer
- that I wanted a different type(compound) of pads than the normal replacements?
- I would appreciate any input about making the brakes more effective.
-
- Thanks a lot
