- I think that the number 1 cylinder problem when the engine is cold
- sounds like a carb problem. The engine cutting out could be a bad valve
- or carburation as well. If I could drive the bike I could be pretty
- sure which it is, but since I can not and you already have the engine
- out you should probably take the carbs somewhere where they have
- swirl tanks and have them cleaned. I would also check the valve seats
- as well as valve adjustment and cam timming.
