  11. Ok, so I'm browsing through the new "Cycle World" and what do I see
  12. but a letter to the editor which mentions the Spagthorpe-Peerless.
  13. Shocked and amazed, I check the author's name, reach for The List
  14. and find:

  18. I'm not quite sure what all this means, but there must be some far-
  19. reaching implications of some sort. Will "Spagthorpe" come to be a
  20. derisive term for collectors of feeble old bikes? Will future
  21. generations of Denizens debate the origin of the term? Will CW claim
  22. credit for it? Will the true and noble meaning of the word be forever
  23. lost? Is there any suitable punishment for this breach of security?
