- The Best Part is from Asheville to Great Smokey Mountains National Park with
- the tits being right around Pisgah. Eat a meal at the Inn at Pisgah,
- preferably either a fresh trout or breakfast. It is not very expensive and
- has Hell of a View.
-
- BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY WARNING: They aren't real fond of speeding motorcyclists
- up there. If you can see a fire tower and you are speeding, you WILL get a
- ticket. This is particularly true from Pisgah on down to the south end
- (Smokeys). If you feel the urge to ride like a maniac, get off the Parkway.
- The roads leading down on either side are better rides than the Parkway
- anyway; and they are virtually unpatrolled.
