- I made a ramp using a 2x12 board of the appropriate length. I nailed
- a 2x4 along each of the sides to provide raised edges. I also
- nailed a 1x1 piece on the bottom of one of the short sides of the
- plank; this provides me with a lip so the ramp can hook over the edge
- of the bumper on my VAN.
