- The question was to compare the hp of the EX500 and the FZR600
- Here goes:
- stock modified weight
- EX500 45 hp 65 hp 320 lb
- FZR600 75 85 400 lb

- These numbers are from the top of my head, and should be pretty close.
- They also represent real rear-wheel dyno numbers from my bikes, which
- I will of course describe. Stock means Stock. The mods to the FZR
- are supersport spec, ie, 5 angle valve job, muzzy pipe and dynojet kit.
- The mods to the EX are extensive... 550cc, flowed head, larger valves,
- cams, carbs, etc. (got 145mph at Daytona) This is one of the fastest
- EX500's in the country.

- The point is.... The FZR is more powerful, and definitely faster, than
- the EX. Handles much better. MUCH MUCH better. Get one. (hell, get
- one of each - or everything - for yourself and compare)
