- One way I have read about (but have not done myself) is to mix the clear
- part of a metalic paint (you know, the part that sits on top when the heavy
- stuff settles on the bottom), with a very tiny amount of the color (gold)
- you need. Airbrush this mixture onto the clear piece in thin
- coats on the inside surface of the part. Practice on something before you
- try it on your model. The article mentioned using food colors (seriously)
- for tinted canopies. I'd try yellow food color for the F117 if the gold
- paint doesn't look right.
