- I just remembered that in my photography days it was emphasized that
- one should use a shutter speed of 1/30 sec or less (i.e. 1/15, 1/8
- etc.) when shooting under fluorescent lights because it flashes and
- at a faster shutter speed you might miss a flash. I had a picture
- I took of a fluorescent light where I intentionally moved the camera-
- you could see 4-5 distinct images of the fluorescent light tube.

- The funniest mistake (not a typo) I've ever seen in a newspaper had
- to do with fluorescent light ballasts, which according to the Indiana
- Daily Student, were the "weights used to hold down lights on campus".
