  12. I noticed there has been no converstion concerning the proposed
  13. FCC 72-76MHz band reorganization that was explaned in a post
  14. made around the 12th of this month.  (title was  Frequency Alert)
  15.  
  16. I hope that means that you are all too busy writing letters to the 
  17. FCC and your congresspersons.

  19. THIS IS SERIOUS STUFF FOLKS!

  21. If the proposed changes go though we can kiss channels 11-42 off

  23. The plan puts mobile transmitters only 2.5Khz off of our channels!
  24. I doubt that it would be safe to trust even the best of narrow band
  25. receivers to reject a multiple time more powerful signal that close.

  28. repost it, or the the author might.

  30. The last time something sneaky like this was done, amature radio operators
  31. lost a big chunk of spectrum to United Parcel Service.
