  23. Who was it - Myers? - one of the AMA bigwigs anyhow - decided to get
  24. a HAM license a while back and after he got his license discovered that 
  25. about 20 others in the club had had the same idea!

  27. Anyhow he concluded that while 50 MHz operation wasn't all it was cracked
  28. up to be (the lines were just as long at his club) the other benefits were
  29. more than worth it - he started carrying around a handset, for instance,
  30. and really got involved with ARRL. Hmmm.. if I had the time I'd consider
  31. doing it too (and I don't even fly R/C!)..
