- Who was it - Myers? - one of the AMA bigwigs anyhow - decided to get
- a HAM license a while back and after he got his license discovered that
- about 20 others in the club had had the same idea!

- Anyhow he concluded that while 50 MHz operation wasn't all it was cracked
- up to be (the lines were just as long at his club) the other benefits were
- more than worth it - he started carrying around a handset, for instance,
- and really got involved with ARRL. Hmmm.. if I had the time I'd consider
- doing it too (and I don't even fly R/C!)..
