- A friend of mine has a "Realroad" digital throttle (IBM-PC based) and it
- includes a fast clock option. You can set an arbitrary rate (faster or
- slower than real time) and an arbitrary start time. You can pause/resume
- whenever you want to. The clock can be shown in either normal characters,
- underneath the cab displays, or in huge ones visible across the room. If you
- just wanted a fast clock, though, and not all of the simulation and track
- power control, this would be overkill.

- I've also seen ads (Model Railroader?) for a stand-alone program, but it was
- expensive and only offered a few fixed rates. Sorry, don't remember the
- manufacturer.
