- Along this line of stuff...people who used thier
- MA to avoid other dangers... story where he was riding a motorcycle and was hit by a car
- ... MA training helped him react... roll when he hit the ground.
-
- Followup's please.
- Fresh from Somalia, Marine Captain on machinegun perch of armored vehicle.
- Vehicle comes under fire, rookie driver panics, hits stone wall, Captain
- thrown 20' rolls, comes up FIRING HIS SIDEARM!
- Captain has: 1 cracked rib, hairline fracture on rotator cuff... I always
- tried to tell him to never roll palm down.
-
- Story is as was relayed to me by first party (Captain Tom Langlois).
- Tom, BB TKD, does have excellent falling technique and is combat hardened
- Vietnamn on (he is an LDO). On the other hand Marines, like all soldiers,
- like all males tend to exagerate :-) Anyway, he is mostly healed up and
- back in Okinawa playing *.ryu.
