  14. I read somewhere that if you open your hand into a star shape (fingers
  15. outstretched) and hold it front of a dog's face, it frightens them and
  16. brings them under control.  Is this true?  It was some book written by a
  17. group of monks (in the US) whose monastary's goal is the betterment
  18. between dog & man.  Very good book, but this hand thing sounds a little
  19. like BS.  Anyone confirm this?
