  23. Well, you don't specify who "you" refers to, but since I was involved in
  24. the thread, I'll pretend it was me.

  26. The original post was a question of the meanings of some terms, some
  27. Japanese, some Korean, and I think also some Chinese.

  29. I took issue with a followup post, and disagreed with some of the
  30. Japanese translations.

  32. Based on statements like "We do kenpo, not kempo." and the associated
  33. obvious lack of understanding of the Japanese language, I guess it
  34. would be safe to say that the Japanese language may not have any
  35. bearing at all in the US.  But why did you think my statements were
  36. at all about the US?  Are we being a little ethnocentric?
