- I just measures my jo and it is only 50"=4.2 feet. I think (if I remember
- correctly) that the idea was that it should be a bit longer than the
- katana which it was designed to be used against and since a bokto (bokken)
- is about 40" that fits. (I havent got a katana to compare with)
