  14.      Ijams Nature Center in Knoxville, Tennessee needs animal
  15. trophies, skulls and skins. Pam Petko-Seus, our wildlife biologist,
  16. needs them for outreach programs at local schools. They will also
  17. be used in our museum.
  18.  
  19.      Ijams was established by the Audobon Society on property
  20. willed by the Ijams family. The center leads school groups
  21. on educational trips on the property on most days of the school
  22. year. Wildlife biologist Pam Petko-Sues travels to area schools
  23. to teach children about wildlife. There is a museum and a
  24. pavillion where UT professors and area naturalists give talks.
  25. Ijams is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization.

  27.      We are asking for trophies, skulls, and skins of animals native
  28. to eastern North America north of Mexico. Until we build our new
  29. nature center, we will not have space for exotic species. Specimens 
  30. should already be prepared, as we can't afford to take specimens
  31. to a taxidermist. We especially need a mounted male mallard and 
  32. any native predators.

  34.      Contributors will receive the Ijams newsletter and the satisfaction
  35. of helping a good cause.
